Beijing time on January 3, the NBA regular season Heat lost to the Pacers 115-128.

In today's game, Butler behaved on the court as if he no longer wanted to play for the Heat.

Talking about Butler only scoring 9 points in two consecutive games, Spoelstra said after the game: This is too abnormal.

Butler's remarks after the game sparked heated discussions again, and some of his remarks were suspected of publicly forcing the team.

When a reporter asked whether he could continue to find the joy of playing with the Heat, Butler replied: Maybe not.

There are various signs that Butler wants to leave the Heat.

Butler's contract with the Heat this season is worth $49 million and has a player option worth $52 million for the 2025-26 season; ESPN reporter Shams previously reported that Butler hopes to leave the Heat before the trade deadline. He wants to be traded to many Western teams such as the Suns, Warriors, Rockets and Mavericks.

Butler has submitted an application to leave the team.
